Beyond the overwhelming kindness of Rahma & Arsi’s Family, I was showered with rich colors, smiling faces, tons of dancing, and a wonderful little first look at Treaty Oak Park. Someone even got engaged right next to us as we did the first look! This two day affair was a lovely cultural experience that I absolutely loved photographing. Congratulations to a beautiful couple!

This incredibly windy but incredibly loving day was one of my favorite sunsets at Casa Marina Hotel. Kelsey & Blake picked a beautiful November day to get married beach side in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Goldenest of Golden Hour Engagements was my first time at Castaway Island Preserve in Jacksonville, Florida. With cowboy boots on we explored the beautiful woods of Castaway Island on one of the most beautiful days here in Florida. Enjoy my last engagement session of 2015!

I love a couple that likes to take an adventure. Especially when I get to photograph them while zooming down the St.Johns to a Private Island. I had such a great time with my good friends Marty and Jess. They are a super sweet and fun couple that loves going out on the water on their boat (named Double D’s), so we decided to incorporate that in the shoot. We couldn’t have done it without our trusty Captain, Mo Vaughan behind the helm on the boat I was photographing from. Check out their sunset engagement session below…

Ever since I can remember, an engagement session to me, has always been a mini adventure. I hike and explore weekly and stumble upon these beautiful locations that may be a little rough to get to, but are so rewarding to photograph and experience. One day when walking in Fort George with my Dogs I found a small, overgrown pathway that led to an entrance to the St.Johns and a beautiful and serene area to watch sunset. I had to find the right couple though. One that wouldn’t mind mud and weeds and bugs. Sam & Phil were more than willing and more than adorable when walking out to the spot.
Love that they were so amped to get out and share a new spot with me. Can’t wait for their lovely wedding.
