Baby Forrest. Just the sweetest and most cooperative little man I have ever worked with. Most likely because he has some super cool parents. I photographed Lauren & Bryce’s Wedding earlier this year and was very excited when they asked about a newborn session for their first born. This was one tough session to focus on. My good friends Caitlin & Geoff introduced a new member to our gang this June and this was the first time I had seen this little nugget in person. It was 6 am, perfect sunrise and I was hanging out with the most handsome man in all of Jacksonville. After a few hugs and cuddles we got on our way to photograph Newborn Baby Patrick’s first trip to the beach. Equipped with a handmade hammock, board shorts, and a Hawaiian shirt! I think every group of friends has that one couple. The one that may have been the one that got married first, but their the ones that are so happy and wonderful together all the time. The ones that you are a little envious of, but mostly you are like, “they are so damn cute!” Well, for my group of friends, Caitlin & Geoff are that couple. They are just too perfect for each other and when we found out the news she was pregnant we were all so excited for them both.
After the past few years of Friendship, an engagement session, a few photo booth and other impromptu photo sessions we came to Palm Valley to photograph her first maternity session. And a few days later we went to the beach to photograph her little man, Patrick. I am just so happy and honored to be able to photograph someones important moments in their life. Especially someone as beautiful and kind as Caitlin. Congrats you two!

My Fourth Shoot with the Deel Family was an interesting one to say the least. Beside their eldest getting completely naked on the beach, we actually had the police called on us right at the end of our session. On our very dangerous (I kid) and illegal newborn session. But with how lovely some of these came our of sweet Charles and his big brother William, I am totally fine with a run in with the cops. Always an exciting session with the Deel’s!

Baby Nova was absolutely adorable!
Her Grandmother found me through a photo booth I was doing and luckily she lived right on the marsh, so we were able to do photograph outside. Even though it was a cold, it was a beautiful day. And baby Nova was feelin’ being a model.
We even got her in Daddy’s bike helmet at the end.
