There is something to be said about the feeling of truly being your wonderful, goofy self with the one you love. And that’s is what I’ve always seen in Katie and Justin. They just seem so naturally in love and super easy going and fun. I met Katie for the first time in Ireland for a wedding I was photographing for a mutual friend. Lets just say, when I met her and her sense of humor, I was sort of in love. She is just such a fun person to be around and made me laugh non stop.
So of course I was pretty darn excited when I saw that she had messaged me about photographing her wedding next month. And after our engagement session filled with a gorgeous sunrise and tons of laughs, I was even more excited. You two are an extremely fun couple to be around and I can’t wait for next month!

The latest sunrise of the year brought on this gorgeous engagement shoot. Sara & David dressed in their finest (I mean look at Sara’s dress!) and within minutes were knee deep in the ocean waves. It was a phenomenal sunrise and happy I got to share it with these two on their visit from New York.

With another Hurricane headed towards the East Coast and as I am about to hop a plane for a wedding in Florida, I figured, what a perfect time to post this Sunset Beachy Engagement! Peyton & Joe woke up super early to play around my favorite beach in Florida.
Talbot Island is a secluded beach that has been hit by some serious storms far too many times. The island, that was once three times it’s size, has been eroding and leaving it’s trees as giant driftwood on the beach for years. It is a beautiful place in Jacksonville and on I hope weathers the storm!

This was one tough session to focus on. My good friends Caitlin & Geoff introduced a new member to our gang this June and this was the first time I had seen this little nugget in person. It was 6 am, perfect sunrise and I was hanging out with the most handsome man in all of Jacksonville. After a few hugs and cuddles we got on our way to photograph Newborn Baby Patrick’s first trip to the beach. Equipped with a handmade hammock, board shorts, and a Hawaiian shirt!
