Most people complain about how rough Monday’s can be. Not if you are with these two on their sweet Monday Wedding. Hannes is originally from Germany, so most of the wedding was in Jacksonville beach for the first time. It brought together a fun filled group of people to celebrate the Herr and Frau.
When I first met with Hannes and Jessica I could instantly tell that they were an adorable duo. Jessica is an incredibly sweet and thoughtful person that you can’t help but want to hug all the time. Hannes was constantly glimpsing over at her throughout the day, never taking his eyes off of his fiancé and then wife. And it made me so happy to see how he cared for her so much. They celebrated with a perfectly blue sky and windy day. Followed by running on the beach with their bridal party, getting their toes wet on the beach, twirling under the full moon, and maybe a few shots of Jägermeister (wait until you see Jessica’s reaction to that below :)).
It was such a breath of fresh air to get out of Monday emails and spend it running around Casa Marina with these two. Check out their lovely wedding day below!

With a Hurricane warning flashing on the TV screen in Florida as I type this, I’ve decided to post a wedding that encompasses the exact opposite of the weather outside. Sun, Blue Skies, and a gorgeous beach. Elizabeth and David’s sunny Abacos Wedding was filled with tons of amazing surprises and moments. Including an underwater session, an emotional Chinese tea ceremony right before the traditional Chinese wedding games, two tiny doggie escorts, an absolutely stunning sunset, and to top it off, a private firework show on their own beach they grew up on.
It was a stunning way to get married and I feel so happy to be able to capture all of these loving moments. Check out this fun and colorful wedding below.

Golden Sunsets, Historical Details, Purple Hues, Smiles, Real Moments, Lip Singing Battle, Dance Offs, oh…and a wedding ceremony 🙂 Stephanie and Mark’s Historic St.Augustine Wedding was a roller coaster of emotion. Form an emotional first look, to goofy bridal party photos, to the sweetest mother son dance, ending with the entire wedding on stage lip singing to 80’s songs. This shoot easily makes my top three favorite shoots from 2015. This Colorful fall wedding reception was put together by some of the best vendors in the west elk mountains. We decided to incorporate vibrant pops of color to enhance the wooded scene we photographed in. We created a natural wood table with accents of vintage silverware and plates from the antique shops in Gunnison Valley. The bouquet and dress were adorned with hand dyed velvet and flowers from Paonia, a gorgeous town 1 hour from Crested Butte. Our cake was hand painted and designed to add a bit of glam to this Bohemian shoot. Wooden pieces were also hand burned and painted to accentuate the natural look of this stunning scene. With just a dash of snow the night before, and a secluded river only footsteps away, we could not have asked for a better fairytale setting than this. Take a look yourself….Enjoy!
