This shoot easily makes my top three favorite shoots from 2015. This Colorful fall wedding reception was put together by some of the best vendors in the west elk mountains. We decided to incorporate vibrant pops of color to enhance the wooded scene we photographed in. We created a natural wood table with accents of vintage silverware and plates from the antique shops in Gunnison Valley. The bouquet and dress were adorned with hand dyed velvet and flowers from Paonia, a gorgeous town 1 hour from Crested Butte. Our cake was hand painted and designed to add a bit of glam to this Bohemian shoot. Wooden pieces were also hand burned and painted to accentuate the natural look of this stunning scene. With just a dash of snow the night before, and a secluded river only footsteps away, we could not have asked for a better fairytale setting than this. Take a look yourself….Enjoy!

I photographed Lauren & Bryce’s Wedding earlier this year and was very excited when they asked about a newborn session for their first born. Ever since I can remember, an engagement session to me, has always been a mini adventure. I hike and explore weekly and stumble upon these beautiful locations that may be a little rough to get to, but are so rewarding to photograph and experience. One day when walking in Fort George with my Dogs I found a small, overgrown pathway that led to an entrance to the St.Johns and a beautiful and serene area to watch sunset. I had to find the right couple though. One that wouldn’t mind mud and weeds and bugs. Sam & Phil were more than willing and more than adorable when walking out to the spot.

Love that they were so amped to get out and share a new spot with me. Can’t wait for their lovely wedding.

These two. I wish I could say something that explains how absolutely wonderful Natalie and Nick are. From the first time I met Natalie she was all smiles. She could light up a room with her laugh and her beautiful personality. And Nick, he adores her. You could never talk to them and by looking at the two of them together, you know. You know how perfect and how in love they are. I am so grateful they found me and invited Tanner and I to their fun filled and incredibly warm and inviting wedding. There is this little park with a little tree, that at sunset, looks amazing! It’s a small park with a weeping willow that has leaves falling down from the two story sized tree. While waiting for the sun to get just right at the park Valerie, Sean and I snuck away to the beach to put our toes in the sand and take a few photos. A wonderful spot to meet a couple for the first time. And an even more wonderful spot to photograph these two love birds. Enjoy!

Probably one of the most lively wedding parties I have had the chance to photograph. I grew up with a good majority of them, so that made it easy to have fun. But I believe everyone knew that this was such a perfect match and that made you want to celebrate even more.

We started with a full photo tour of downtown St.Augustine before the wedding with a crew of 16, a champagne toast in a stretch limo, several giggles during the ceremony, a perfect twilight on a balcony overlooking the yacht club, hilarious speeches from 2 best men and 2 maid of honors and ending with an even more hilarious photo booth. I can say, Robin & Sean’s Wedding was nothing short of a good time.

But I will let the pictures tell the rest.

Such a bright and colorful wedding! The playful table arrangements by Liz Stewart Floral matched this cute little couple, who flew in all the way from Texas to get married in this beautiful historic hotel. Casa Marina, located right next to Jacksonville Beach Pier, has been open since 1925. It provides a quaint little area to get married by the sea as well as beautiful backdrops for the detail oriented bride.
